This song is about one of the deepest questions of all: Who am I? What is my mission? Why am I in this world?
Alex asked himself these questions for the first time in the mid-90s. At the beginning of the 2000s, the song “Who Am I” emerged from this.
It was re-recorded in 2025 - more intense, more honest, more powerful.

Alexander Faisst is a self-producing Power Metal artist, electric bassist, vocalist, composer, and producer.
Music is not entertainment for him, but a medium for expression, reflection, and vision. His songs combine emotional intensity with philosophical depth and a clear artistic stance.
With decades of experience in music, he develops his work with a strong focus on quality, authenticity, and creative control – from composition and lyrics to studio production and release.
Expressive Reality was founded as a solo project with a clear direction: evolving into a full live band. The music is created with professional musicians and brought to life both in the studio and on stage – real sound, real presence, real connection.
